Contract Seed Pressing

Our scalable seed pressing facility allows for ultimate flexibility in the seeds we can press and the batch volumes we can accept.

Our small scale presses can accommodate almost all oil bearing seeds in batch sizes of between 10 kg and 500 kg. These presses are well suited to producing high quality, high value cold pressed oils, or for preparing sample volumes of conventional oils, where separation between batch samples is important.

Our medium scale press is designed to press a similar selection of seed, for batch sizes between 500 kg and 15 tonnes.

Our large presses, each of which can press 500 kg of seed per hour, can accommodate batch sizes between 15 tonnes and 180 tonnes. These can press linseed, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and jojoba seeds, as well as many others.

Our filtration systems can be tailored to your requirements, based on the oil volume to be filtered and the level of purity you want to achieve.

Our automatic vertical leaf filter system is designed to filter oils with a high particulate loading. Cold pressed oils generally contain significant levels of seed pulp when they are first pressed. This can take some time to settle out under gravity – vertical leaf filters offer a quick and effective alternative to gravity separation.

We also have a series of polishing filter systems, consisting of bag and cartridge filters. These can be used in a variety of combinations to filter out particulates between 10 microns and 0.2 microns in diameter, consistently producing oil that is crystal clear and free from contaminants.

All contract services are conducted in our state-of-the-art production facility and are managed by our quality management systems.
