Filling, Labelling & Packing
We recognise the importance of streamlining processes wherever possible. Our production facility provides pressing, filtering, filling, labelling and packing solutions all on one site, to help keep costs down. Each process is designed to operate independently or in conjunction with other processes, allowing us to offer production solutions that can be tailored to the requirements of each customer.
We pride ourselves on providing consistently high quality and cost effective services to our customers. Our high capacity production lines and motivated production team also enable us to offer a very quick turnaround on production if required.
Our high capacity production lines consume vast quantities of packaging, which has allowed us to build strong working relationships with our packaging suppliers. We can use this buying power to help secure the best possible price for packaging on your behalf, and can provide assistance in selecting the right packaging specifications for new products.
Filling Services
Our filling systems are entirely flexible. We are capable of filling containers of all shapes, sizes and materials with almost any liquid regardless of viscosity or consistency.
Liquids that we typically handle include:
- Oils
- Salad dressings
- Mayonnaise
- Soft drinks
- Liquid soap
- Hand cream
- Shampoo
Liquids brought to our facility for filling can be received in a range of packaging sizes, from 5 litre containers through to 1,000 litre IBCs or 30,000 litre bulk tankers. We have storage on site to accommodate most consignments sizes.
Cold pressed oils produced through our cold seed pressing facility are stored in 20 litre or 1,000 litre containers prior to bottling/filling. Each container can be flushed with pure nitrogen before sealing in order to remove any oxygen in the container that might degrade the oil.
We understand that the filling method used needs to be appropriate for the product and end market. We have both constant-volume and constant-level systems available. Regardless of which system is used, our stringent quality monitoring will ensure that your products are always compliant with weights & measures regulations.
To complete the filling process, we can accommodate a variety of closure options, including:
- Caps, unthreaded or pre-threaded
- Corks
- Heat shrink sleeves
Labelling services
Product labelling can form part of an integrated filling, labelling and packing service, or be performed as a bespoke service for products that are already filled.
For standard bottles and jars, our automated bottling lines can provide a quick and cost effective means of labelling large batch quantities. Alternatively our hand operated labellers can accommodate even the most unusually shaped containers, and are a great option for small production batches.
In all cases, our labelling services can be used in conjunction with code applicators to stamp essential dates and batch numbers onto labels as they are applied.
Packing Services
Our motivated production team are experienced at packing products of all shapes and sizes on behalf of our customers. For products that we have filled and labelled, our packing services ensure that your products are assembled into outer packaging of your choice and collated onto pallets or into parcels ready for dispatch.
Our packing services are also ideal for bespoke product runs, such as seasonal gift packs, which would normally be prohibitive to assemble, or tie up production time.
Our dynamic production lines can also be linked to real-time ordering systems, so that bespoke consumer pick lists can be quickly packed and prepared for dispatch.
